Lani Morand, Corporate Secretary
Ms. Morand has over 30 years’ experience managing corporate & securities regulatory compliance for dozens of public companies, with particular emphasis on venture issuers listed on the TSXV, TSE and CSE.
From 2018 to date, Ms. Morand has served as Corporate Secretary or Chief Legal Officer to numerous startups in a wide variety of industry sectors, including greenhouse agriculture, wastewater treatment, and an environmental token exchange. From 2019 to 2023, she was Corporate Secretary and Senior Estates Paralegal at Fast & Company Law Firm. From 2015 - 2025, Ms. Morand served as VP Legal & Corporate Secretary of Noah Water Technologies Inc. From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Morand acted as Corporate Secretary for Sentinel Market Services, managing compliance for 5 TSXV issuers, including an IPO and several private placements. From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Morand served as Corporate Secretary to Orca Touchscreen Technologies from its initial listing on the CSE, continuing with expansion of operations in Asia, Guatemala and Turkey, and concluding with its reverse takeover by plan of arrangement. In 2015, Ms. Morand lead ChitrChatr Communications' response to an Alberta Securities Commission continuous disclosure review. From May 2015 to December 2019, she served as Corporate Secretary of the AgSpectra group. From 2013 to 2015, Ms. Morand was Senior Securities Paralegal at Bacchus Law Corporation. From 2012 to 2013, Ms. Morand freelanced as a Corporate Securities Paralegal at various Vancouver lawfirms. From 2006 to 2011, she founded Homesale by Design, providing staging and interior design services. From 2002 to 2006, Ms. Morand freelanced as a Senior Securities Paralegal at various lawfirms. From 1999 to 2001, Ms. Morand served as VP Legal & Administration of Moshpit Entertainment, preparing it for a NASDAQ IPO. From 1996 to 1999, Ms. Morand was a Senior Securities Paralegal with Maitland & Company, preparing filings for VSE, TSXV and NASDAQ issuers.
Michael Malana, Chief Financial Officer
If you do not already have a CFO, Mr. Malana is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a globally recognized professional accounting designation. Mr. Malana has over 30 years’ experience with issuers listed on the CSE, TSXV and TSE.
