Lani Morand, CCO
Ms. Morand has over 20 years’ experience serving as a Corporate Secretary, Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Corporate & Securities Paralegal in all aspects of business law, with particular focus on start-ups seeking exchange listings in Canada and the US. From 2018 to date, Ms. Morand has served as Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer to numerous start-ups, particularly in novel tech and involving M&A. From 2019 to 2023, she was the Corporate Secretary and Senior Paralegal at Fast & Company Law Firm. Since 2015, Ms. Morand has served as VP Legal & orporate Secretary of Noah Water Technologies Inc. and its Florida subsidiary. From 2017 to 2018, Ms. Morand acted as Corporate Secretary for Sentinel Market Services, managing all legal requirements of 5 TSXV issuers, including listings and capital raises by way of IPOs and private placements. From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Morand served as a Corporate Secretary of Orca Touchscreen Technologies, from initial listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) wit operations throughout Southeast Asia, Guatemala and Turker, until conclusion of its reverse takeover . In 2015, Ms. Morand consulted to ChitrChatr Communications, leading its response to an Alberta Securities Commission continuous disclosure review. From May 2015 to December 2019, she served as Corporate Secretary of the AgSpectra group of start-ups organized in BC, Alberta and Canada, with initial operations in Alberta. From 2013 to 2015, Ms. Morand served as Senior Securities Paralegal at Bacchus Law Corporation, responsible chiefly for Orca Touchscreen Technologies Inc., ChitrChatr Communications Inc., and RESAAS Services Inc. From 2012 to 2013, Ms. Morand worked as a freelance Corporate Securities Paralegal to various Vancouver lawfirms. From 2006 to 2011, Ms. Morand founded and operated Homesale by Design, providing home staging and interior design services. From 2002 to 2006, Ms. Morand worked as a freelance Securities Paralegal to various downtown Vancouver lawfirms. From 1999 to 2001, Ms. Morand served as VP Legal & Administration of Moshpit Entertainment Inc., preparing it for an initial US public offering. From 1996 to 1999, Ms. Morand worked as a Senior Securities Paralegal with Maitland & Company, preparing filings for TSXV, TSE and NASDAQ issuers.

Mr. Malana is a CPA with over 20 years’ experience with issuers listed on the CSE, TSXV and TSE.
